Take the November Nova-Motion challenge!
"Nova" is derived from Latin, meaning "new." It also refers to when a white dwarf star that has run out of fuel which pulls from and merges with a red giant star creating an explosion and a new beginning!
If you've run out of steam let Nova-Motion be your new start at the end of a long year!
Just like the Nova star, this challenge can symbolize your new beginning and a series of transformational moments!
What activity would you want to get back into motion?
Here's how it works:
1. Pick one activity you need to get back in motion, or want accountability to stay in motion. Ex: Walking, decluttering, drinking water, reading, journaling, prayer, or any other personal or professional activity, etc.
2. Set a duration or quantity for your activity. For example: 10 minutes. Keep the duration low so it feels easy and realistic. You can always do more if you get motivated in the process.
3. Pick a frequency for that activity. Ex: 3x each week of November. You can make it fun with an aliteration, like Nine in November and shoot for doing something 9 times, or completing 9 of something like reading 9 pages.
4. Invite someone to join you! Tell a couple of people what you are doing. Post about it, or tell your friend you will send them a picture of proof each time you complete your activity. If no one knows, it's easy to fall off your routine. Be the one to inspire your group of challengers a couple times a week with your progress and encouragement to keep going with their own goals!
Remind them and yourself, you can jump in at any point during the month. If you fall off, it's okay to jump back in... every 9 seconds! 😉
